It has been so long since I actually took the time to blog. I miss doing so! I am bound and determined to make a New Years resolution that consists of me being consistent doing one thing I enjoy-which blogging is a big one. There are many new things that have taken place in my life. I have a new and wonderful job that I enjoy more than anything-I am a nanny and take care of 2 children everyday. I also watch a 7 yr old in the afternoon. I am also going to school AGAIN to maybe finish so that I can teach. I am very thankful for friends and family who have prayed for me during my life changing experiences. I am not to keen on change but God has really been opening my eyes to see that change is not so bad.

Okay, Christmas is just around the corner and I am not in the spirit like I normally am. I am completely overwhelmed this Christmas and basically just want it to pass by. I was thinking about the significance of that just the other day-why do I just want it to pass by? I know it has to do with presents and not having too much money this year to purchase the right gift for each person yet why am I so wrapped up in buying gifts anyway? I should be loving Christmas because of the meaning. I should be reflecting on God's magnificent self on that day and not worrying about buying things for people. I am so upset with myself for not realizing nor taking the true meaning of Christmas to heart every year. I hope that this year and the years to come that I will keep my mind focused on the one that matters-Jesus Christ and everyday throughout the year grow closer to Him.

For my birthday we went to eat at Chillis and then went bowling. It was really funny (I felt bad though) cuz Sarah thought we were going to buford and i didnt know that we were going to gville and so she sat there in the buford chillis waiting on everyone to get there and finally called. so, we ended up having to wait for a table for like an hour but i had alot of fun hanging out and i think everyone else did. thank you to sarah, mike, jordan, timothy, jonas, holly, john, toni, matt and my husband for making my bday GREAT! i love all of you!
